EVERETT, JULY 8: Live music returns to the waterfront this week as the annual Music on the Marina free concert series kicks off at the Port of Everett.
Hosted by the Everett Events Foundation in partnership with Everett Music Initiative, the popular eight-week summer series will feature live performances by local acts every Thursday evening through August 28.
The event will start at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 10 with Nite Wave, an 80s new wave tribute band. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Other acts like Santa Poco, The Little Lies and Moxie are expected in the following weeks.

More Music on the Waterfront
The festivities continue with Rock the Boat, a separate waterfront concert event presented by Everett Music Initiative and Cruzin’ to Colby.
Night One is set for Friday, July 18, at Boxcar Park and will feature country stars Jo Dee Messina, Chayce Beckham, and Antwane Tyler.
Tickets are required for Rock the Boat, with gates opening at 4 p.m. and music starting at 5 p.m. Details for Night Two of the event have yet to be announced.
