KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Year-2024-25-Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles-Snohomish High School

The KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Year for 2024-25 is multi-sport athlete Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles of Snohomish High School. Gildersleeve-Stiles was a 10-time athletic letter winner while competing for the Panthers in volleyball, basketball and track & field. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, she was Snohomish ASB Vice-President; National Honor Society member; 2025 Class Valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA and was named homecoming queen.

On the volleyball court, TGS was named second-team All-Wesco her senior year. While never placing, the Panthers qualified for the state tournament in each of her four years. Head volleyball coach at Snohomish is Morgan Doyle.

On the basketball court, TGS finished her career with 1240 points, ending as the 4th all-time leading scorer at Snohomish. She is 5th all-time leading rebounder. Her best game was as a junior, in the district semi-final, she scored 27 points and secured 18 rebounds. She followed that up with a double-double the following night, including the game-winner with one second left to send the Panthers to the state tournament. Head basketball coach at Snohomish is Ken Roberts.

Tyler was also a two-year participant in the Panthers’ Track & Field program and was a state qualifier in the shot put and discus. She finished 6th in the shot put at the 2025 State 3A Track Meet with a throw of 37’ 10.24”. She won every shot put event she entered in 2025 including the NW Districts; Wesco 3A North; Sunny & 70! Invitational; gearUP Eason Invitational and the Robert Polk Invitational. Head Track & Field coach at Snohomish is Dave Weller.

Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles will play college basketball at Santa Clara University. Athletic Director at Snohomish High School is Zach Ward.
