Kaleo culminated her stellar King’s basketball career leading the Knights to a second place finish in this year’s Class 1A State Basketball Tournament at the Yakima Valley Sundome. She ended her career with record-setting points (2,000), rebounds (1,000); plus, assists, rebounds and blocked shots. King’s also finished second in state last year. Kaleo was a three-time Emerald Sound Conference MVP. After fielding multiple college basketball offers, Anderson chose Virginia Tech to continue her athletic and academic career. After carrying a 3.5 GPA in high school, she plans a double major in Psychology and Law Enforcement while in Blacksburg. Dan Taylor is King’s Girls Basketball head coach, and the athletic director is David Gerig.
