At the state track meet at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma, Rotondo won the 3A High Jump State Championship with a jump of 6’10”. Having already clinched the state title, he took his final three attempts at 7 feet even. But didn’t clear the bar. Rotondo cleared 6-4 in both his freshman and sophomore state meets to finish sixth and fourth, respectively.
A fifth-generation Panther, Jack is a three-sports athlete, excelling on the football field and the basketball court. A junior, he carries a 3.8 G.P.A. and has drawn interest from Division I colleges. Head track coach at Snohomish is Dave Weller; Athletic Director is Zach Ward.
