Shakespeare In The Park

Shakespeare in the Park returns to Everett on Saturday, August 1, with a free performance of “Macbeth” at Wiggums Hollow Park, 2808 10th Street, in north Everett.

The pre-show at 5 p.m. features original live music by indie folk artist Mano Chando, and free hot dogs and popcorn served by the event’s sponsor, the Delta Neighborhood Association.

“Macbeth” starts at 6 p.m. The play follows Lord Macbeth’s descent from the king’s heroic defender to his villainous assassin – a tragedy set in motion by the most famous witches of theater (“Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble”).
