EVERETT, APRIL 29: Who will be crowned “The King?” The Kentucky Rain Band’s Elvis Challenge returns for the fourth year at the Historic Everett Theatre to crown this year’s winner.
“The Elvis Challenge is an evening of fun, surprises, and a one-of-a-kind tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley,” the Kentucky Rain Band’s website said.
Heidi May of Everett’s Greatest Hits KRKO and Classic Country KXA will be returning to co-host the challenge starting at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10 at the Historic Everett Theatre. She will be joined by co-host Artist Robbie Dee. Last year’s Elvis Impersonator winner, Brian Knudson, will return as a special guest performer for the show, singing some of Elvis’ greatest hits.
Contestants will be judged on four categories as they compete for prizes: vocal performance, costume and appearance, stage presence, and audience response. All performers will be backed by Everett-based Kentucky Rain Band, the Northwest’s #1 Elvis Tribute Artist & Rock-n-Roll Band. A record number of contestants, 16, have signed up for the 2025 contest. This year’s contest lineup is full of both new and returning Elvis Impersonators.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Everett Gospel Mission, which provides resources and shelter to those experiencing homelessness in the Everett area.
