EVERETT, APRIL 1: Spring cleaning just got a little easier with the City of Everett’s upcoming recycling event.

The city will be collecting recyclables from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5 in Lot B of the Everett Station, 3201 Smith Ave. At this event the city will accept oil and latex-based paint, electronics, computer equipment, and televisions. They also offer services to shred confidential documents.

Before attending, it is recommended that you review the full list of what will be accepted, which includes information on processing fees for items that are more expensive to recycle and volume limits. Also note that this event is only open to Snohomish County residents.

The recycling collection event was made possible due to support from Everett’s Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance grant from the Washington Department of Ecology.

Based on a press release from the City of Everett.
