Odin Schwabenbauer didn’t just win the 2026 3A state wrestling championship at 285 lbs for the Snohomish Panthers. It was the fact that he did it in such a dominant fashion. Odin had gone 46-0 in his matches up to the state title bout at the Tacoma Dome; his 47th win; over the #2 seed from Shelton; handed him the championship. At the state tournament, Schwabenbauer’s path to the title was: Pin, Pin, 10-1 decision in the quarters; 17-0 tech fall in the semis; culminating with a pin at 3:37. He placed fourth at the state meet a year ago at 190 lbs. A multi-sport athlete, Odin also plays for the Panther football team. He carries a 3.0 GPA at SHS.
