Our KRKO Russell and Hill Male Student Athlete for November 2025 is senior wide receiver Henry Gabalis of the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats football team.
Henry was a four-year starter at several positions, including tight end, wide receiver and running back. He was part of the class that weathered the storm of an 0-8 season as freshmen, to a Class 2A State Championship as seniors. Henry scored a touchdown 2A State Championship Game at Husky Stadium; Archbishop Murphy defeated Tumwater 35-20. At 6’5” and 230 lbs, Gabalis is a freakish athlete; the week he was committing to playing football at the University of Arizona last spring, he was playing baseball for the Wildcats; that week he went 10-14 at the plate with 3 home runs, a triple and 12 RBI. His plan is to leave for Tucson and enroll early. According to 24/7 Sports, Henry was listed as a 4-Star Athlete; the #18 Tight End in the country and #2 TE in the State of Washington. He carried a 3.6 GPA for his high school career. Head football coach at Archbishop Murphy is Joe Cronin; athletic director is Jeff Latta.
