As the World Cup ends, and the second half of the Major League Baseball season begins; our attention turns to Little League baseball and softball post-season play.
Softball is already underway with Snohomish Little League (12U) representing the State of Washington in the Little League Softball Regional Tournament in San Bernadino, California. Sunday, Snohomish defeated Hermiston, Oregon 2-0 and will advance to the semi-finals on Tuesday against the team from Boise, Idaho. The game will be streamed on the ESPN+ Platform at 3:00 pm.
The regional championship game will be telecast Thursday at 10:45 am on ESPN.
The ultimate goal is the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, NC in early August.
