Bonus trick or treating Halloween day in downtown Everett

EVERETT — Call it a dress rehearsal for Halloween night trick or treating with the kids and dog(s) before the main event Saturday night, but families are invited to The Downtown Everett Association annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Wetmore Plaza. The spooky celebration will have games, snacks, music, and fun activities for your costumed kids as well as pets.

Downtown Everett businesses will provide treats for the princesses, superheroes, witches, ghosts and little monsters to trick or treat. The weather forecast calls for dry skies and a little bit of sun on Saturday afternoon and a lot of candy so conditions are prime if your kids want to get some extra mileage out of their costume. Follow the trail of balloons to find each candy location, the DEA says.

Businesses will be ready for trick-or-treaters of all ages, including dogs if you want to meet at Pawsome Park & Lodge located at 2820 Rucker Ave at 1 p.m., then parade with the group to Wetmore Plaza, at the corner of California and Wetmore. Costumes are encouraged for pets and their owners.

The weather should cooperate Saturday with partly sunny skies and a high of 53°F expected. Click the image of the map below to see downtown Everett map of participating businesses.
