Press release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

EVERETT JULY 2: Northbound State Route 529/North Broadway is closed at Marine View Drive for emergency maintenance at the Union Slough Bridge in Everett. Traffic is being diverted using the Marine View Drive off-ramp.

There is no estimate of how long northbound SR 529 will be closed. People should plan for added travel time. To travel north, people should use southbound Broadway, turn left onto Everett Avenue, then left onto northbound Interstate 5.

This is north of a separate closure on the northbound SR 529 Snohomish River Bridge, but is unrelated to that work.

Real-time traffic information is available on the WSDOT mobile app and the Travel Center Map, or by signing up for email updates.
