EVERETT, JAN. 3: Attorneys from Snohomish County Legal Services (SCLS) will provide free civil legal assistance to low-income county residents at the Evergreen branch of the Everett Public Library next week.
At this legal clinic, SCLS attorneys will meet with you one-on-one for brief consultations and advice on general civil legal issues, including family law (e.g., divorce, parenting plans, and visitation rights), housing (eviction, landlord-tenant or other.
Sign up for an appointment at epls.org/SignMeUp. Appointments are recommended; walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis if spots are available.
You can meet with an attorney 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9. at the Evergreen Branch, 9512 Evergreen Way. The legal clinic will be open every second Thursday of the month at the same time.
These attorneys will not represent you in court. SCLS attorneys may not have expertise in all areas in all areas of law, but they will make every attempt to answer your questions accurately and/or provide resources for your legal issue.
Resources may include options to file a lawsuit or complaint; information on how to contact the Snohomish County Bar Association for an attorney who can potentially assist in filing a lawsuit; or other resources specific to your issue.
