EVERETT, JULY 24: The Everett Police Department is partnering with the local community for National Night Out Against Crime on August 6 to raise awareness about crime within neighborhoods.

“This annual event is an opportunity to raise community awareness and to build a partnership with law enforcement and neighborhoods, to make our community a safe and wonderful place to live, work and connect with others,” primary coordinator for NNO, Lisa Syravong wrote in an email.

You can register your neighborhood event on the City of Everett website, and choose appearances from city staff, elected officials and public safety crews. Registration must be completed by Tuesday, July 30.
