Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for January 2024; senior guard for the Arlington Eagles Girls Basketball team, Samara Morrow. Samara averaged 18 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals per game for the Eagles. Leading Arlington to the Wesco 3A regular season title and a Class 3A State Tournament appearance at The Tacoma Dome, bringing home a fourth-place state trophy. In her high school career Morrow was a three-year starter and a two-time captain and carries a 3.92 GPA. She has committed to play college basketball at the College of Southern Idaho (NJCAA). Head girls basketball coach at Arlington is Joe Marsh; Athletic Director is Tom Roys.
