EVERETT–The Everett Station District is hosting a free Health and Wellness Resource Fair for community members this Wednesday. Participating organizations will be providing a wide range of educational and practical services, including referrals. Community members can take advantage of resources related to mental health and substance use recovery/support, cancer prevention, victim advocacy and Medicare support. Medical services offered include wound care, prescription refill assistance, STI testing, posture and mobility assessments and women’s health self-swab tests.
District Services Director Rachel Holloway says the fair’s goal is to provide an opportunity for all community members to connect with local health, wellness, and support organizations in one convenient location.
“We’re hoping attendees will be able to learn about available services, ask questions, connect with providers, and find resources that can support their health and well-being,” Holloway added.
