  Three basketball teams that all placed at this year's state tournament visit Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, March 10, 2025. We start with the 4A Boys third place team, the Glacier Peak Grizzlies with head coach Brian Hunter and players Josiah Lee, Zachary Albright and Reed Nagel. Then it's the Glacier Peak girls team with head coach Brian Hill and players Brynna Pukis, Rikki Miller and Samantha Thoma. Finally it's the King's Knights girls team with head Dan Taylor and players Kaleo Anderson, Kaitlin Cramer and Adeline Cox.

Complete game broadcast 2025 WIAA 4A Boys Basketball State Tournament; Game 19; Friday, March 7, 2025. Tom Lafferty and former Arlington coach Nick Brown on the call, live from The Tacoma Dome. Gonzaga Prep defeated Glacier Peak 62-50 and advanced to the state championship game. Glacier Peak finished in third place for the second straight year.

KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was Reed Nagel of the Glacier Peak Grizzlies; he scored 16 points leading Glacier Peak to a 44-42 overtime win over the Camas Papermakers.

It’s State Basketball Tournament Time!

Some consider it the best time on the sports calendar. While it’s “March Madness” in the collegiate ranks; there’s just as much “madness” on the hardwood at the high school level. This week starts the 2025 Boys & Girls State Basketball Tournament in the State of Washington. 48 teams will take to the court in three separate venues across the state. The big schools (4A & 3A) head to the Tacoma Dome; the medium-sized schools (2A & 1A) will meet at the Yakima County Sundome; the smaller schools (2B & 1B) take to the court at the Spokane Arena.... Complete Game Broadcast: The 2025 Class 3A Boys Basketball State Tournament Regional Round: The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors meet the Bellevue Wolverines; Saturday, March 1, 2025, live from the Bellevue College Gymnasium. KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was Cameron Hiatt, he scored 37 points to lead the Warriors to a 66-56 overtime victory. Edmonds-Woodway advances to the quarterfinal round of the state tournament at the Tacoma Dome next week.

Live from Glacier Peak High School with Tom Lafferty and former Arlington boys head coach Nick Brown on the call. KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was senior guard Jo Lee of the Grizzlies. He had 22 points to lead the Grizzlies to the 60-30 win over the Falcons. Glacier Peak will now play Mount Si for the District Championship Game on Saturday at Snohomish High School.

Thursday, February 13, 2025. 2025 Class 2A NW District Boys Basketball playoff game; the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats travel to meet the Lakewood Cougars; Tom Lafferty and Nalin Sood on the call. KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was junior forward Caleb Greenland of Lakewood. He scored 30 points to lead the Cougars to an 80-42 district tournament win.
