Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for November 2022, senior running back Jayden Limar of the Lake Stevens Vikings football team. Limar piled up 2,331 yards and 40 total TDs during the 2022 regular season while leading Lake Stevens to its 1st-ever state football championship. Jayden committed early to play college football at Notre Dame, but late in the process decommitted from the Fighting Irish and decided to take his talents to the University of Oregon. KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month-November 2022-Claire Smith-Kamiak

Our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for November 2022 is swimmer Claire Smith of Kamiak High School. Claire capped her junior season with a stellar performance in two individual events and helped lead the Knights to a third-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the Weyerhaueser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way on November 12, 2022. Smith took third place in the 100 butterfly with a personal best time of 56.95 seconds. Smith's time was actually faster than what she swam last year – 57.10 – when she won the state title.... Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for April 2022, senior Chloe Pattinson of the Lake Stevens Track & Field Team. Chloe had an outstanding State 4A Track Meet in Tacoma this spring; scoring a 2nd place finish in the 100 hurdles (14.74); a 2nd place finish in the 300 hurdles (44.12); a 4th place finish in the 4 x 100 relay (49.57) and an 8th place finish in the 4 x 400 relay (4:03.66). KRKO Russell and Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month-April 2022-Trayce Hanks-Lake Stevens High School

Our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for April 2022 is senior sprinter Trayce Hanks of the Lake Stevens Vikings Track & Field team. Trayce was part of the State Champion 4 x 100 meter relay team (time of 42.51) along with Grant Buckmiller, Hamid Sylla and Quinton Berry; also ran anchor of the Vikings’ State Champion 4 x 400 meter relay team (time of 3:20.69) along with Grant Buckmiller, Kaden Chidester and Hamid Sylla.
