Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for April 2022, senior Chloe Pattinson of the Lake Stevens Track & Field Team. Chloe had an outstanding State 4A Track Meet in Tacoma this spring; scoring a 2nd place finish in the 100 hurdles (14.74); a 2nd place finish in the 300 hurdles (44.12); a 4th place finish in the 4 x 100 relay (49.57) and an 8th place finish in the 4 x 400 relay (4:03.66). KRKO Russell and Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month-April 2022-Trayce Hanks-Lake Stevens High School

Our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for April 2022 is senior sprinter Trayce Hanks of the Lake Stevens Vikings Track & Field team. Trayce was part of the State Champion 4 x 100 meter relay team (time of 42.51) along with Grant Buckmiller, Hamid Sylla and Quinton Berry; also ran anchor of the Vikings’ State Champion 4 x 400 meter relay team (time of 3:20.69) along with Grant Buckmiller, Kaden Chidester and Hamid Sylla. Everett Community College to host Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner

EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College will celebrate athletes and coaches inducted into the college’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020, 2021 and 2022 at a dinner on June 9, 2022.  Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 Athletic Hall of Fame ceremonies were held virtually. KRKO Russell and Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month-March 2022-Alexis Slater-Mariner High School

Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for March 2022, senior pitcher Alexis Slater of the Mariner Marauders softball team. Alexis has had a great start to this season with a 6-1 record and a 2.18 ERA in 45 innings pitched with 80 strikeouts and just 10 walks; she batted .600 with a .643 on base percentage. In the Covid-shortened 2021 season Slater had 89 1/3 innings pitched; sported a 0.71 ERA with 190 strikeouts and just 21 walks. She also batted .415 for the month.
